Matt Perry

Matt joined the Ampersand team as an Executive Advisor in 2025, bringing over 25 years of global leadership experience within the medical device industry. Over his 8-year career at Medtronic, Matt served as Senior Vice President and President of Surgical Innovations, as well as President of the Americas Minimally Invasive Therapies Group. Prior to that, Matt spent 16 years at Covidien, where he held a range of executive roles across strategy, sales, commercialization, and marketing. Matt is known for his collaborative leadership style, well-rounded experience, strong communication skills, financial insight, and innovative approach to problem-solving throughout the medical device industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing from Indiana University Bloomington and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
