We at Ampersand Capital Partners, along with our subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, “Ampersand“, “we”, “us”, “our”), care about your privacy and the trust you place in us by providing personal data and we want to be transparent about how we use it and how we protect it.

- When you communicate with us through the Website or other Ampersand platforms: we collect personal data when you provide it to us through communications via the Website (including where you have contacted us through the “Contact” page), such as your name, email address, telephone number, other information you provide as part of your inquiry.
- When you communicate with us directly or visit our offices: we collect personal data when you voluntarily submit information to us directly such as via postal, telephone and/or email communications. We may receive personal data from you in connection with an Ampersand product or service which you are interested in. We collect and maintain certain non-public information we receive from you as set forth in your subscription agreement, investor questionnaire or similar forms, such as your name, address and social security or tax identification number. We may also receive information about your transactions with us or our affiliates, such as your participation in an Ampersand fund, your capital account balance, bank account information, contributions and distributions. If you visit our offices, to secure our premises, we use CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) in certain global locations which records visitors who attend our premises.
- Automated technologies and/or interactions: as you interact with the Website, we may automatically collect technical data about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns; for example, your internet protocol address and other similar identifiers, browsing history, search history, information on your interaction with the Website. - When you provide services to us: when you enter into a contractual agreement with us to provide us with a service, we may collect certain details in respect of you or other representatives of your business, such as name, business, contact details, job role.
- Events: when we arrange or attend events, we may collect your personal data when you attend the event and exchange your details with us (for example, by providing your business card).

- Careers: we may collect personal data from you when you enquire or apply for a vacancy with us, such as your name, contact details, curriculum vitae (such as, qualifications, previous employment history and profession activities), results of background checks (such as, references, qualifications, and to the extent permitted by law, criminal background checks (unspent convictions)).

- To enable us to carry out our obligations arising from our engagement with you. We use this information to perform a contract with you, or to take steps to enter into contract with you. For example, to the extent you are an investor in an Ampersand fund, we may use your personal data to distribute capital call notices and ongoing reporting of such Ampersand fund; and to the extent you are a prospective investor in an Ampersand fund, we may collect your personal information for purposes of providing you with information regarding Ampersand products or services and evaluating whether Ampersand can offer you an investment product and under what conditions.
- To communicate with you and respond to your requests and queries. We use your personal data to communicate with you about updates and changes to our products and services or to respond and resolve your queries. The personal data we process when doing so includes your correspondence with us and your contact details. We use this information to perform our contract with you or when it is in our legitimate business interests to do so.
- To measure performance of our services. When it is in our legitimate interests to do so, we use your personal data that we automatically collect about you or that is generated about you when you use the services for analytics and measurement to understand how our services are used, such as analyzing data about your visits to the Website to improve the quality of our communications and to customize your relationship with us.
- To protect the security of and managing access to our premises, IT and communication systems, online platforms, the Website and other systems, preventing and detecting security threats, fraud or other criminal or malicious activities. - To send you event invitations, business updates, or other marketing materials, and ensuring the efficient management of events and to promote our business and relationships. We rely on your consent to send you marketing communications or when it is in our legitimate interests to do so.
- For our recruitment, when you apply for a job role with us. Ensuring potential recruits of any kind are appropriately qualified for positions at the firm. We may use information collected throughout the recruitment process to review Ampersand equal opportunities profile in accordance with applicable laws. We may also need to review your right to work in line with applicable laws. We use this information to perform a contract with you, or to take steps to enter into contract with you, to comply with our legal obligations or when it is in our legitimate business interests to do so.

We may use your personal data to develop, manage and market products and services to meet your needs and to provide you with information on our products, services, events that you request from us or which we feel may interest you.

We share your personal data as follows:
- Ampersand group companies: As Ampersand is part of a wider group, which all collaborate and partially share customer services and systems including website-related services and systems, we may need to transfer your personal data to, or otherwise allow access to such data by other companies within the Ampersand group for the purposes including, for example, addressing your queries, ensuring the security of the Website and your personal data, informing you about our services and promotions.
- Third party service providers: Third parties who provide services to us have access to your personal data, for example, we engage providers for website analytics, hosting and cloud computing services and other IT services, talent management and recruitment services, marketing services, facility agent and security agent services, in addition to other administrative services.
- Event co-hosts. We may share limited personal data (name, title, employer) with co-hosts of events we host or otherwise sponsor in order to administer the event and provide a list of attendees.
