Stuart joined the firm in 1991 and served as an Ampersand General Partner for more than 15 years. Over that time, he was part of a leadership and investor team that built more than a dozen successful industrial and healthcare businesses. Previously, he spent three years consulting at Bain and Company and five years in manufacturing and engineering at Lever Brothers. Stuart currently serves on the Board of Genezen. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Columbia and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
