Josh Silverstone

Josh joined Ampersand as an Executive Advisor in 2026. He brings almost 25 years of operating experience in the life science tools industry, most recently as SVP and Head of the Biology Franchise at MilliporeSigma, the life science business of Merck KGaA, where he held full P&L responsibility for a Cell, Molecular and Protein Research Tools business. During his recent tenure at MilliporeSigma, Josh led the acquisition of HUB Organoids, the pioneer in patient-derived organoid technology, and drove co-development partnerships with leading and emerging life science companies. Earlier roles at MilliporeSigma spanned General Management, Global Strategic Accounts Commercial Leadership , Strategy and Business Development - including serving as Integration Office Director for the Serologicals acquisition - Marketing, eBusiness, and Pricing. Prior to MilliporeSigma, Josh held finance roles at Frito-Lay and Procter & Gamble. He holds an MBA from The Tuck School at Dartmouth and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from McGill University.
